I just managed to give one of my cats a flea pill.

He’s mega friendly, but hates having pills chucked down his throat, so he struggles a bit.
I’ll do the other cat when she turns up, and my house is now powdered to kingdom come.
Death to the fleas!!!! ☠

I use peanut butter to give my little dog a pill. First, I put about a half a teaspoon on a flat table knife because it’s easier—a spoon or fork is pesty to lick. I give her that first bite to enjoy—key step. I then reload the knife with enough peanut butter to bury the pill. I let her start licking it then when she’s focused on that I kinda quickly open her mouth and give her the bigger bite covering the pill. The peanut butter acts like glue and she then has to work a bit, but swallows it all not caring about the little lump! And to keep her tuned in to the process I will give her a treat of a peanut butter “knife” occasionally. Win win!

@PaisleyHeart Good advice. I tried something similar using tuna mayo, but he ended up perforating my finger with needle sharp teeth 😆
I tried another time with the pill crushed up and mixed with liver pâté, but he sniffed it and ran off. He’s bloody psychic I swear.

I have ONE "bite-em-no-see-em" in my BED...but after he got me really GOOD I lidocained him to death...🤣🤣🤣
