There is this cat that shows up everyday in my yard, but everytime I go towards it, it takes off, yet continues to return. I love cats, I'll gladly take it in, but I've never owned a cat! Help!!!!

A cat, unlike a dog, goes where it wishes and you will never own it, but it also knows where it is welcome. Just care for it and one day it will turn to you as its family. But it will do it on its own terms and give you the love you seek.
