My cat should have been dead years ago

One of my cats was diagnosed with cancer and give a month to live .... 4 years ago. An ultrasound picked up a growth on his intestine. The expensive biopsy came back inconclusive. The wee bastard is still around. He refuses to be beaten.

There have been a couple of times when I have felt his number is up, I give him a deadline, if he is not better in a few days it is off to the vet for the long goodnight, I don't want to see him suffer.

He rallies, picks himself up and is back to normal, eating me out of house and home.

My cat crossed the rainbow bridge, a couple of days before Thanksgiving.

She was on my lap the prior evening, asking for treats. Not a single indication there was anything wrong. She wakes me at 4AM every morning to snuggle. When she didn't do it, I got up to look for her, and she was dead on the floor.

Looks like she had a heart condition that even she did not know about. It was instant, and she probably did not feel it.

She's back home in an urn next to me.

It’s a rollercoaster of emotions, I’m glad you’re still being eaten out of house and home.
My dog was diagnosed in the summer of 2016. They told me 2 years. I had 8 more years with her.
