Why didn't anyone ever ask who let the cats out?

@sstronaut If you don't mind, there's actually a fascinating story behind that expression. In medieval times, Farmers would take their wares to an open-air market. Pigs and other small livestock were sold in bags called pokes. Unscrupulous farmers would often catch feral cats and put them in poke bags and try to pass them off as pigs. If a customer asked to inspect the pig in a poke, those farmers would of course refuse, lest the customer let the cat out of the bag.
