I need to take a proper picture of the house cats too since they're plenty but they're still getting used to me so I'm focused on the job and forget about pictures...
Story has it this time, I'm feeding 8 house cats and 3 street colonies, about 2-5 cats per colony.
I'll be feeding another one house cat in a week for a few days once her caretakers are gone.
This time I have more cats under my surveillance as 3 cat ladies are travelling together for a wedding to another place. And I feel useful for making their trip possible. Heheh
I'm intrigued by the quantity of cats. Why are there so many? I don't mean in this specific house but in the area generally both in houses and outside. Is there some specific local tradition of looking after semi-feral cats or is it a relatively new thing?
@ninalanyon mediteranean islands I suppose... Whereas it is still warm enough even in the winter for feral to survive outdoors, and there's enough sun to warm up in the day... And uhm I'm just part of the cat ladies gang 🤭
@JackDaniels all are different you know. Some really love it, some won't even consider it, some are shy, some just know how far a human is allowed to be in their space. I'm communicating with the and approaching each in a different way. But sometimes I just like to 👹 tease them lol some have funny reactions 😻
