What a night..... I might have to move

Tonight was alot.

We went to our support group and I tell you it wasn't easy listening to him fear his fears and struggles this past week. He spent way to much time talking about me and what I did to help him. I don't like attention like that. But it's what he needed to talk about.

So anyway we were talking with a few people after the meeting and he gets a text.

He looks at the message and I can see a look on his face

What's wrong is everything ok

Nothing everything is good. Star just wanted us to stop at the store on the way home.

I find this odd because I can't imagine what she would ask him to buy. We have everything at home.

We get to the store and he says I'll just run in and get what she needs, stay in the car so it doesn't get hot.

Well that's weird. He's not in there long and he puts whatever he brought in the trunk. He's hiding something from me I think.

Ok I'm worried now what is going on.

You'll find out when we get home.

I don't like surprises

I know

We get home and before we go in he shows me Star's text.

Omg I don't know what to do, the boys where playing in the game room and they found him outside in the yard. He was hot and alone and they opened the door and he got in and I don't have the heart to put it back outside. Can you get some food for him. Please don't let him be mad at me or the boys but it's so hot and he was all alone. Please please please don't let him be mad.

Honestly we think cats are great. We have had a few over the years. They can be a lot of comfort. My main concern would be is he chipped and does he belong to someone.

@Musicman he's not we took him to the vet today and they checked. They also reached out to the shelters near us to see if anyone is looking for him

@Cigarguy I truly wish you all the best. ☺

@Musicman I know it really seems silly to most people but it's just me 😔

@Cigarguy My wife was bit a couple of times by dogs. Once in the face. She is absolutely terrified of dogs.

@Musicman honestly my biggest issue is the litter box and jumping on the counter where I cook at. I do have some childhood trauma with a cat but it's silly

@Cigarguy Hopefully this cat won't jump up on the counter.
Cigarguy · M
@Musicman he does gotta figure out how to stop him from doing that safety. Right now I just pick it up and tell him no and put him on the floor.

@Cigarguy How is that working for you? 😉
Cigarguy · M
@Musicman not good he just jumps right back up there. I don't know what to do can you train a cat
Musicman · 61-69, M
@Cigarguy Sadly I don't think you can. ☹

@Musicman I was afraid of that. Thank goodness for bleach wipes and therapy lol
