This is not how I wanted to spend my morning

Last week Pantera, my cat with chronic kidney failure, puked for no apparant reason. She did it again yesterday and this morning, so we're off to the vet for a checkup.

I'm hoping it's heat related and not her kidneys getting worse.

UPDATE:
We're on our way home now. It's the sick kidneys combined with the heat that makes her nauseous, so got pills to ease that. Also, thanks to her special food her kidneys are almost back at normal values 😍 I can start giving her kitty treats again even.
She was even so well behaved today she didn't need to be sedated.

All is good.

Aw, that's good news, sounds like you're taking amazing care of her. One of my dogs also needs special food and it has completely changed her life- she used to get sick (the poops) every few days and now it's very rare.

@Fallflower she deserves the very best

Good to hear she is feeling better.

I heard some of those dry pet foods can cause kidney failure
LordBarbossa · 36-40, T
@YoMomma it's more likely due to her age.

@LordBarbossa who knows
