Saw my old cat in the backyard

I thought for sure the winter would have gotten him as it was pretty brutal, but he was in the backyard yowling away. He still has no interest in coming home and seems to be just loving it out there. I'm gonna let him be, but good to know he is still around. How he survived is beyond me. He would only eat soft food and was scared of his own shadow most of the time.
