My social worker

My social worker stopped by this morning to check on me and my sure I have what I need. The visit was good but as she was leaving she asked if I liked cats. I said I've never had one why. She said I needed a friend so she's going to get me a support cat. She said she'd help me take care of it and she'd be back by the end of the week.

So I guess I'm getting a cat

@Willow2025 🤔think that is not a good call really getting a cat there are more aloof and need to earn your trust where a dog may of been better

@smiler2012 dog requires more work, regular walks, training etc it’s a lot to cope with

@smiler2012 it will be a support cat so it's been trained and screened
@QuietEd2019 Getting you out of the house, and getting exercise is good for you, also you meet a lot of people at the dog park and everyone has a story to tell of their pet shenanigans. Cats, not so much.

@JamesBugman I work long hours so unfair on a dog but two cats have been fine
@QuietEd2019 Makes sense then yea, dogs need to have fun and run around sniffing butts, where cats sleep most of the day.
