My cats in heat

She won’t stop whining and walking around with her ass raised in the air. I should have gotten her fixed months ago but getting a vet appointment is such a wait.

She'll be trying to get out the door if she gets a chance.

@Gibbon they’ve already tried that in the past so Im on guard for it. She mostly tries to get into the refrigerator now.

@Captainjackass You need to get her to the vet. It's not fair for her to go through it. My elder kitty wasn't spayed when she was given to us and she was miserable going through her first heat. That was the the only one she had to suffer through.

@Gibbon I have an appointment from months ago but it’s not until the end of the month. There’s months of waiting at all of them.

@Captainjackass I understand. There's a new vet that opened next to our grocery store and they were taking no new patients a month after they opened. Many of the affordable old timer vets around the area closed their doors during the pandemic.

@Gibbon their really good if your in an emergency but otherwise it’s a long wait.

@Captainjackass one would think but this new place I've heard has turned away emergencies as well. I don't think that will bode well for them in the long run.

@Gibbon geeze. I know their overwhelmed but turning away emergencies is just asking for trouble.
