The feral orange tom I've been feeding finally allowed me to pet him, but at one point he thought I was reaching for the food and over reacted a little. Sunk his teeth into the fleshy part of my hand just below the thumb.

I got scratched up by a cat who snuck into my car......She cleaned it up and said there hadn't been a reported case of rabies in 90 years

I had anti-rabies shots 2 years ago. But it's fully covered by the insurance here. I told myself that at least for 2 years I can safely pet bats. 😂

They gave me a tetanus shot and some antibiotics, no petting the bats.😢😆

Better get to the ER now, who knows what parasite or infection could be passed on to you, plus they'll have to trap and test the cat for rabies.
