Switched from clay kitty litter to pine pellets made for rabbit and horse bedding...

Works fine and it smells like pine trees, it's also half the cost.😸👍
(Another thrilling post about my cats. Dude, my life is so boring.)🤷‍♂️😆

Frfr? I want to switch from clay for environmental purposes. How does cleaning the box work? You gotta dump and refill the whole thing?
@TeamSkullGrunt The pellets puff up when they get wet, I just scoop out the fluffy part and replace it.
It's not dusty like clay, and it doesn't smell bad. I also use a plastic liner in the tray so it's easy to clean up. Haven't used it for long, but I think replacing the liner and all of the pellets once per week, aside from the daily cleaning, should work OK.
@TeamSkullGrunt It may vary with each cat, but mine only uses the box for pee so far, and she doesn't bury it. Scooping out the fluffed up stuff is easy.😸
