Need advice on my kitty again

She is such a drama queen. If I even walk in the direction of her food bowl or the kitchen, she is all over me meowing and circling my feet wanting food. I feed her regularly and as recommended for her weight.

Is this a cat thing? Constantly begging for food?

i got taught from a professional how to assess adversive behavior and look for opportunities to use to adapt/retrain cognitive responses .
You've done an amazing job.

Your PURE CONSTANT patience has been the whole reason she has come this far.

It only takes one fuck up, one tiny break in that, one tiny push too far -.and all your work would have been trashed.
That's more than I can even express.

It's all about TRUST ....patience, gentle coersion, and gentle, passive, postive reinforcement .

You are building trust in an being that has had it destroyed and been hurt by it .

It can take years .
You've come so far so quickly 🤗
