Why my cat looks at me like he's the one paying the mortgage?

@cherokeepatti Well most of the time he's pissed because I won't let him eat the birds. Or chase the chickens so it's his own problems

@SirAhmed There are some dogs that you cannot trust around birds or chickens. Labrador retrievers to be exact. They can’t help themselves. My grandpa went on vacation and asked us to care for his dog. We brought him to the farm and he would get into the fenced chicken yards and kill a chicken every day. Had to bring him inside. My aunt went into the living room and found the parakeet cage on a stand laying on the floor with seeds scattered all over. She looked at the dog and he had a guilty look on his face and there were parakeet feathers on the floor too. She put the bird cage up and cleaned it up. Swept up the seeds and told us the dog had ate the parakeet. We all cried. She had to chain the dog up outside to keep him from killing the chickens. The next day she got the vacuum cleaner out to pick up more of the bird seeds around the furniture that she missed with the broom. Here comes the naked-butt parakeet out from under the sofa. He wasn’t dead, just hiding till he heard the vacuum cleaner.
