My cats must be a little more savage, influenced by generations of living wild.๐Ÿˆ

I see videos of cats running from rats. That would never happen in my little pride of tiny loins. I watched a large rat try step up to one of my half feral cats... she slapped him dead!!!๐Ÿ˜ต ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜ธ
Another stupid myth I hear too often, male cats don't hunt regularly. The bigger toms around here sustain themselves on wild rabbits, field mice, and ground squirrels.๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Ours would never run from a rat, but she would only chase it until it was no longer annoying her I think. Actively catching one is far beneath Portia's dignity!

She CAN catch mice and does on a fairly regular but I think only does it to prove her worth (and to leave a morning offering on a pillow). Squirrels - no chance: at best she'll watch one through the window with her mouth open.
