Why do cats feel the need to bring you gifts?
My cat brought home a slug last night, and do you know where she placed that gross gift? On my pillow! Thanks, but no thanks. 🤢

Had a Siamese cat when I was a teen and she’d leave a dead mouse on the rug next to my bed. My foot usually ended up in the middle of it after the alarm went up because I’d jump up to turn it off. She never left the mice at anyone else’s side of the bed, just mine for some reason.
