It took less than a minute for my cat, who was asleep upstairs, to smell the tin of sardines that I just opened. I purposely opened it really quietly and there was no chance she could of heard it because the radio was on.

When I open a can of tuna for myself, I usually pour the liquid from the can into a little bowl, and if the cat is sleeping in the next room, he will wake up and come running. He won't eat the tuna...but loves the liquid! Go figure!

@4meAndyou my cat would gobble up a full tin both fish and juices in about three gulps 😂 she's so greedy

@Scarfface My cat doesn't normally like human food of any kind...except for smoked turkey deli slices. He tries to crawl on my plate if I have that in a sandwich. I give him teeny tiny little bites, and he throws up every time. He just woofs it down without chewing.

@4meAndyou I don't think they know how to chew 😂
