recently I had a cat in my fenced in back yard. Saw me and came right through the doggie door. We were getting along well I was petting her and she was rolling. Then the dog noticed. Cat ran for the hills.

@curiosi Doesn't your dog like cats?
curiosi · 61-69, F
@UnderLockDown She loves them but she is like a bull in a china shop. She thinks they will play like she does and always ends up getting slapped in the nose.

@curiosi I don’t think I’ll ever have a pet door regardless if I have a cat or dog. I don’t trust possums, raccoons, skunks or neighborhood cats around here.

@cherokeepatti I have a screened in porch so that's where the doggie door is. I open the slider and she lets herself off the porch. The only other animal that has come through was a bunny. I had to open the screen door as he couldn't figure out how to get out.

@curiosi if I had one it’d be there. I wouldn’t want stray creatures to get into the house. I would love to have a screened in porch with a doggie door on the kitchen door if I had a pet so they could come & go as they wished, but not one on the outside doors.
