@Mossflower your lucky my cat is almost 17 years old

@luna1994 The vet put him at maybe 5. He was not that old when he wandered up. Mom loves to dry he sheets on the line outside. She was gathering clean ones for her basket and Bennie got inside her basket. He stole mom's heart and mine. I call him mine but he is more mom's cat.

@SapphicHeart He stole our heart. He wanted to be around us from day one. It was a few weeks before he would let us near him though.

@SW-User Yes he was near wild when he showed. He could not come inside but after a few weeks he started to come in and sleep. He still lives for the garden but in winter he likes the heat. Smart kitty 😻

@Mossflower calicos are usually female. The males are a bit more rare and usually sterile. Honestly I’m not sure where the good luck theory originated. Maybe just because of the rarity.

@badapple Nature is so weird. I'm curious why the vet didn't mention our boy is rare?

i have no clue or that he was sterile. at least give you some info on the cat. he might not of seen to many of them or wasnt thinking about it.
