Why do people hate cats so much? A lot of people seem to really hate cats. I get that a lot of people are allergic, but people are allergic to a lot of things and don't have a deep, pathological hate for it like they do for cats.

I don't hate cats I have one. The problem is she's not that keen on me! What I dislike is cat hoarders who encourage irresponsible breeding and end up with 20 or so cats in and around their homes.
