Dogs and porcupines

I saw a video once where a guy shot a porcupine on his property due to this problem. He said the up side was it was the best tasteing meat he ever had.

Poor guys. ☹

Mine was lost for two days. Limped his way back bloody and muddy. Turns out he went out and spent the last two days guarding the chickens from the neighboring property, way out thru the woods, who were being attacked by coyotes.

I'm sorry for your dogs! Next time, they will KNOW the smell of the porcupine, and will stay away!

Does the husky throw a fit when you try to get close enough to remove the quills?
