That is bizarre... but I know bucks will do that sometimes. Speaking of funny animal stories, one afternoon, I heard that horrible baying noise that a hound makes coming from my front yard... looked out the window and saw a strange hound dog barking at what appeared to be absolutely nothing 8 or 10 ft above the ground. I went outside... and saw the problem. Dog had chased the neighbor's cat up a tree and poor kitty was hugging the tree with all its might, just like a bear cub.

I heard all the deer snorting and saw the wild kitty being chased by 2 bucks. They ran that cat up on my car. It looked like the cat wanted to get higher, thought he was going to jump on the roof of the greenhouse. Made me laugh!
