i hope it's nothing serious

bubba has had some wicked diarrhea for two days now. i thought it was his wet food so i fed him more dry food and i thought it improved but it hasn't. i called the vet and set an appointment for him for tomorrow afternoon but i didn't feel very worried about it till dinner tonight- the hungriest cat in the world didn't finish his plate.

he's snoozin in my dogs crate right now and i'll let him be. i hope all he needs is... idk, whatever the opposite of laxatives is... and he'll be feeling like himself again

today is officially three years without my mama and i don't know what i'd do if i lose her cat too

You're gonna be okay Bubba 🖤
Hugs and prayers.
A blood test could help to see if there's an infection.

@EarthlingWise whatever he needs he'll get

There are human food that you can feed that might help ... pumpkin is one

It could be just a stomach flu perhaps? I assume cats can catch something like that too? Don't worry too much, and I wish him better health. 💚

@Frostcloud That is really scary but I still think it could be something that will pass easy, since it came on so fast in the first place. It's great that you got him an appointment already, poor baby. How old is he now?
Frostcloud · F
@Nightwings he's probably about seven years old maybe but that's really just a guess

@Frostcloud That's pretty young for a cat. I was wondering if he was old by any chance, but sounds like he's in the prime of his life if anything! ^^
Could be a parasite. Sometimes they get them
Frostcloud · F
@DancingStarGoddess yeah, he's not allowed outside but my roommate wears his shoes indoors and the dogs track in stuff too. if it's not food poisoning they can def give him something for any sort of parasite
@Frostcloud I hope he feels better soon
