Earlier this month, I brought a new life into this world with my son. Now at the end of the month, I have to see another life leave this world.
We had to say goodbye to my dog Ulysses today. He wasn’t eating and when he would eat, he couldn’t keep it down. He was severely malnourished and just wasn’t getting better. We’ve done all we could for him, but my wife made the decision to put him to sleep today. I joined Adelina at the vet and we were both with Uly when he passed. She’s taking it pretty hard. Difficult as it was to see him go, I’m at least glad we got to be there for him until the end. We gave him a good life with a loving home for so many years. It’s a shame Adelina and I had to end up separating but it’s an even bigger shame it had to end this way. He was a really good boy and deserved so much better than this. We will all miss him dearly.
Goodbye Uly baby. Thank you for being such a good dog and for blessing us with how precious you always were.
