I had a wild cat running around my farm for at least four years, and I needed a mousing cat around my house and barn. So, this fall when I would see her staring at me before running off to hide. I would look at her and say, "Meow, Meow, Meow". She would look at me like saying How do you know how to speak my language and then run off. But every time she would appear she would come closer to the weirdo Meowing at her. She finally came about 20 feet away and sat and Meowed back at me as I meowed at her. I put food out and went into the house, she ate it eventually coming to me over a months' time and began to allow me to touch her when I fed her as she hissed at me. Now she runs to me and rolls over like a dog at my feet wanting me to rub her belly like my dogs do purring up a storm. She made her own home in my barn, and I keep food and water out for her 24/7 and she takes care of the mice and rats for me.
So, always being a Dog person the only name, I could come up with for her is Meow, Meow Kitty or Pretty Kitty.
