When I adopted Basil. I was going away for a fortnight that Wednesday and the dog catcher couldn't legally give him to me till Friday. So I organised at the kennels to have one kennel free next to my other dog for Basil to go into. By the time I came to collect them they had become good friends.

Mine likes to bring home guests but I don't think he would be ok with them cutting in on his personal me time.

Ask your wallet, instead, if it can afford the Vet bills, and possible boarding costs for TWO animals if you ever have an emergency and need to be in the hospital for a week or more.
