I lost two close together, one of them died naturally in my arms.

Heartbreaking but I’m glad I was there with him and at home with me. 🥹 🐾

@Achelois I have had those experiences and no matter at home or the vet's office I never left their sides or presence and always took them home with me to burry.

@Achelois Absolutely we do. 110% absolutely we do. I hate when I see pet owners walking out before the pet is put to sleep because they can't handle it and leave the pet behind. Look That animal gave you all it had undividedly, you owe that pet that dignity to be there till the very end.

It’s painful to watch but it would be more painful to leave them alone and scared. I’ll never understand that.

@Achelois Exactly because at that precise moment the animal (My pet) always looked back at me for reassurance that all was going to be okay, and it was my duty to reassure and let the pet know his loved one was there till the end.
