I get the witty twist, and it's pretty cool. But the initial statement is messed up, like adopted children aren't really the children of the people who adopted them. It pisses me off when I hear someone refer to her "real dad," talking about a piece of human garbage who never even bothered to know her, rather than the man who raised her as his own. ijs
