Like I said, just more cruel words

I feel at fault when people say well you shouldn’t have let your cat outside if you didn’t want him to get hit by a car, but the truth is is that when he came into my life I knew I couldn’t give him the best home because I have too many animals and I’m not in a good place to even care for the ones that I have. I tried to find him a home and not even a shelter would help me. I tried for a very long time so I just really hate when people blame me for it when I feel like I tried to give him a good life Given the situation and the fact that no one else even cares to try to help

I’ve had a couple stray cats that have been out there for years and years and have not been hit by a car so yeah, I did not think he was going to be hit.. those refuse to come inside

You just can't force some cats to stay inside.

I've got two myself... my boy won't go anywhere near the front door. My girl will venture outside and lie under the bush outside the front door until you poke her out with wood or throw soil at her. We don't leave her out without supervision because there's a guy in the next street over who shoots cats dead (yes, in England).

You did the best you could with the circumstances you have. Don't let others guilt trip you for trying your best. If they could do better, then they are more than welcome to walk the walk instead of talking the talk.
