Cats need everything on their own terms.
Try sitting down, relaxing, and experimenting with making your touch as sensual as possible. Focus on enjoying the sensations. Start very lightly and slowly. Let the cat shoe you what pressre she likes by how she leans into the touch.
Other times, let her come to you for warmth and sleep.
If you're consistently kind and never show annoyance, evn in tone of voice, she'll eventually grow more and more affectionate.

My cat likes to undecorate the Christmas tree and bring the ornaments to me while I'm laying in bed watching TV.

Then pet someone that won't run off 🙄
