If i dont feed my pet bc i cant afford it. It is considered animal abuse. But. If i starve to death its no problem.?What?

Feed myself or feed my pet? This is why ill never have a pet.
Ps. i dont have pets dont want pets. But my question is does a person get in legal trouble for not feeding their pet if they themself are starving? Or should they just eat the pet?

Exactly! Because IF you cant afford to feed yourself then i suggest you dont take on another mouth to feed. Its cruel. Put yourself first take care of yourself and when you're in a better position to take on the responsibility of a pet then by all means you can go for it!
