How do you experience a meal while your friend’s dog keeps getting up in your face, begging for food ?

My MIL's dog is big. When we have dinner at their dining room table their dog goes around and checks if any of us will feed her or have any leftovers. It's in your face more or less. I see my MIL feed it and then herself again.🤢

@GunFinger Oh, yikes ! My friend will hand feed the dog (a small dog, but still) from her plate, and then eat something, too. 🤨
