I was worried my Guinea pig was lonely when in her cage after her best friend/sister passed sway in February

So I bought her a stuffed squirrel.

Day one she was upset, staring at it from far away, and walking cautiously toward it then running away. (Picture 1).

By next morning and ever since, she’s been cuddling up to it (picture 2).

Yes, she spends at least a couple of hours outside of her crate every day playing with us or cuddling with us, but when she’s in her crate, it was at that time that I was worried about her being lonely

I once met an ancient parrot, around 100 years old, that had a toy parrot for company.

@Jenny1234 yeah, the current owner was in her late 60s and inherented it from her father who got it from a buddy. Was losing it's hair and had it's weird ways but, you know, one hundred.

@NativePortlander1970 Ok, Dud Dorite. I misspoke when I said hair, meant to say feathers. As for it's age, they said about 100 and it looked ancient to me. I didn't demand to see it's birth certificate.
