@SW-User They are fantastic! They eat tons of bugs. Had a partially tame one for a little while, she didn't like to be held but didn't mind a scratch behind the ears.

@UnderLockDown Yes they do eat tons of bugs. Ticks, tick eggs, and larvae. That's amazing that you had a partially tame one for a little while. I've just always seen them as amazing creatures. They get a bad rap. But, they are great for the environment.

@SW-User They eat venomous snakes, a lot of copperheads here. They say they are immune to the venom. But they are stinky. This last possum has been in the back yard too, I can smell the stink around the little hedges.

@cherokeepatti Oh wow , I had never heard that.....that's amazing and they are keeping people and animals safe. I bet they are immune to the venom. They are immune to rabies also.

@cherokeepatti Yeah, they do have that stinky odor.....but, at least you know your yard is being checked.....☺️

@SW-User I think they get into fights with the feral cats too when they are roaming around in yards.

@cherokeepatti Probably....I think we have that happen here. We have some feral cats in our neighborhood. I hear a lot of hissing and cat growling at night mostly.
