Every video I've ever seen of a husky, the dog is super loud and whiney.

They are a very expressive breed 🙂

My friends have one and she’s not loud at all. Maya whines the way some dogs bark when someone comes to the door, but mostly she’s just very friendly and loving. They trained her to jostle a bell hanging on the door to their backyard when she needs to go out, and she does it perfectly. She also doesn’t have "dog smell" which is rather cool.
