Wash it well at the car wash using the wand and rinse it off very well. It will be fine then.

@ziggyzag If it's water proof-ish it's probably non-porous which won't hold the bleach solution. It should rinse off fine at a high pressure car wash. Fleece is another matter. Skip the bleach completely. Just wash it and rinse it very well. Then let it sun/air dry. The high pressure wand at a car wash works very well for this.

I think you've done enough, ideally immersing it in the disinfectant and holding it under for 30 minutes. This is how brewers sterilise their equipment and the conditions for brewing will grow anything so it all has to be sterile.

@Missadventurous i thought this yes. it’s such a nice crate and looks pretty much brand new but don’t want to take any risks
