I will haunt whoever is in charge of my pet to make sure they're treated right.

@SW-User I really like the idea of haunting. I feel that way about a back field of whoever gets my place and they will want to mow it with their sit-down lawn mower and it is the most amazing ecological wonder with misty cartwheels of spiderwebs in the tall grass and every insect and butterfly thrives, and I know many who will just mow it down.

@atlantic59 we've vowed to take caree of something for life. To me that means as long as that something exists, not just as long as I exist.

@SW-User I'' be honest, -there's a couple of cats over the years, that I wouldn't feel bad about 'stiffin' on a few treats and toys, the way they treated me while their human was away

@atlantic59 it all boils down to what they're taught and how you read their body language.

As with kids, none are bad, just taught badly.

@SW-User absolutely.

@SW-User I think the cats read my body language that said: 'I'm a dog person', and there the rift began...
