I couldn’t imagine not living on a farm

the only thing I ever wanted as a kid was to live in a giant city, or a really rich suburban area, surrounded by people, just like in the movies. But then I got older and realized how crazy it is that some people have never pet a cow, or a baby goat, how some people don’t have yards full of tons of random birds, or that some people don’t just wake up to sound of mourning doves cooing, like some people really don’t have yards full of chipmunks and bunnies, or deer, and that is so weird to me, some people actually go to petting zoos and don’t just have them in a pasture behind their house?? I never thought I’d be happy to be living in a house that’s over 100 years old with animals everywhere, but you really don’t ever get lonely when you have animals to spend time with all the time every single day.

Best part about it. All that land to yourself. Land and housing are super expensive. We just lost dozens and dozens of acres cause my stupid aunt sold it off. Now we only have the immediate plot of land we live on

I don’t have neighbors for miles around my house, all the fields are owned by my family which we use for hay for the cattle, they even have their own pond, it’s so insanely peaceful I wouldn’t want it any other way @JestAJester
