Why are mentally challenged people always so self absorbed?

I did a status talking about how today is special and it got a reply from someone who just talked about their experience. Nobody asked... havent even bothered to click like! I've also met some who carry photo albums around to bore people with. One guy had 3 and expected us all to look at them. One book just had pictures of the moon in. 🤦‍♂

It's a reflex action. You mention something, and others relate it to their own experiences until an anecdote that "needs telling" bubbles up. It's a strong pull, hard to resist. "Mentally challenged?" It's so prevalent I'd almost call it "normal." But yes, it's irritating. Give them a chance; it's only the ones who do it habitually who need work.
