I remember being so upset when my friend passed away in war, and I blamed people for being apathetic
I was grieving. I still am.
At the time someone thought it is a good idea to take the opportunity and feel victimized because I am shaming humans for their apathy.
It was a general post. Not directed at anyone in specific. But the shoe fits plenty.
I will never understand how people manage to convince themselves that their sensitivities towards words are more important than human lives.
What's stranger is that I advocated for this person's rights at a point in time. I spoke on their behalf and I sought retribution for the person who preyed on them.
Well, it is not entirely strange. It is a repeated theme. No good deed goes unpunished.
