Knowledgeable people, is shyness and schizophrenia mutually exclusive?

Just my opinion. But schizophrenics are clinically mentally ill. Shy people are not. Schizophrenics have hallucinations and delusions. Shy people do not. Schizophrenics can't sustainably function in society. Shy people can. I believe they are exclusive

I suppose excessive shyness is a mental abnormality. But not even close to schizophrenia.
