People who are selfish, arrogant, or can't feel other people's pain

Are the creatures on this Earth I cannot stand at all

How can you lack love, compassion, and empathy? How can you sit comfortably knowing somebody else is hurting?

What happened to you? What broke your ability to love? Was it by choice? Do you ENJOY THIS?

Why are you afraid to answer and show your true face?

I can be all of the above.
I don't enjoy it. What effed my ability to care is the realization that when you yourself need care most, you will be abandoned by the majority. They will hide in their homes and hear your screams thankful it is not them who are going through it.
That is how it is.
I can also feel too much and care too much. So I am either of the extremes, really. Selfsacrifice isn't foreign to me but so is not giving a damn.
Humans in general are selfish, arrogant and unloving. This world makes it so that you can only function by giving up your inner child and purity. So whatever you do, whatever action you take it implies some sort of suffering for someone else.
It sucks.
This is what we made as a collective. And it is only getting worse with entropy.

Maybe they just don't want to. One good reason could be that you spent this entire post judging them and then judged them even further with the way you phrased that question and before they even have a chance to answer, you mock them for allegedly being afraid to answer.

You've clearly already made up your mind about them, even though you show signs of acknowledging that something might have happened to them to make them this way.

Wheres your compassion?
@Redstar are you serious?

maybe love, compassion and empathy were robbed from that person by others actions??
@Torsten this is what I am thinking but doesn't that compel them to stop someone else from feeling that pain?

I don't like being made a game of. I've never caused anyone pain that I know of and I hate seeing other people in pain. But there are people following me around and coughing and shit at me and I don't know how they live with themselves.

Several reasons.

- They are afraid of their own painful emotions so they must ignore yours to not open their own pain.

- They are more sympathetic than empathetic meaning they can only care if they can personally relate.

- Anger protects vulnerability so if you are too afraid to face your own truth, you remain angry and hostile to stay far away from that truth that you fear will destroy you if you face it.

- You're told /taught being kind and humble is weak / silly and are still impacted by the patriarchy / toxic stereotypes etc.

- You hide under jokes and sarcasm because you think it's too painful to be real and serious

- The reality is too scary and dark and you wanna stay in your comfort bubble where you are in control.
So many broken souls with insecurities and scars…..

Don’t take it personally…
Don’t try to fix anyone…
Surround yourself with good people whose actions match their words.
As for the rest….forgive and forget :)

Do you mean people who have done something to you personally?
@PaleandPolluted no, in general

Mmhmm something is completely off with them that they’re more than comfortable with …who knows … they might think that turning it on might make them explode! 😲🤯🫣

Just leave em to it, they’re a responsibility unto themselves 🥀
it took a lot for me to get there. it usually starts early on in life. these things take a long time to develop. it’s not by choice, and it’s not always pleasant. sometimes it is. don’t be scared to show your anger.
