I yelled at this selfish girl for not cleaning up after her dog. I wasn’t rude right?

So earlier I saw someone walking their dog and her dog took a shit on our beautiful lawn than my dad, mom and I just cleaned up! I went outside and yelled, “Hey lean up after your dog!” She rolled her eyes and walked away. I kept getting her attention and said, “Hey! Can you clean that up?” I was distant towards her.
I wasn’t going to let her get away with it. She kept walking away and I said, “Hey! Stop walking away and clean that dog shit! Rude.”
She looked annoyed and said, “Okay I will. Do you guys have a garbage bag.” I rolled my eyes and went back into our house and got her one. I slammed it on her hands (not hard) and walked back in. We’ll she was rude! I wasn’t gonna let her walk away leaving that dog shit in our beautiful exclusive yard!” She thank you but I ignored her. I told my parents about it and they said I did the right thing and that girl was being a jerk.
