The ultimate in rude behaviour.
It would have to be jabbering away with someone in a language you know a third person present doesn't understand. When you do that to someone, it reveals you don't consider them to be important enough to take part in the conversation; it's the ultimate expression of contempt. It's a way to overtly exclude someone, to keep them isolated.
I know what that's like, having grown up with parents who did this in front of me in Hungarian, and having gone to schools where most of the other students (over 90%) there were Greek, and this was in f**king AUSTRALIA, where the language is f**king ENGLISH!
Folks, do yourselves a big favour, and don't embrace multiculturalism, because this is what will happen. You'll end up feeling like a foreigner in your own country.
