Why are some people

Walking talking pokes in the eye?

Why do they want to get under your skin?

What joy is there in getting someone upset?

I don't understand it.

I also tend to see it among people who claim they are "christians". There's an example in the comments of one of my posts. Commenting just to annoy me.

Just...why?

If making someone mad brings you joy, seek professional help. You have issues.

ETA: I'm not upset. I just really don't understand people with this condition.

Personally I see the same corelation you observe. For what its worth I see it related indirectly to status. If I hold something I regard as improving my status. Be it a new car, a high status job or a set of values like Christianity, I want you to know about it. And in the case of an intrinsic value like Christianity, I need you to understand that I am superior because I hold those values. So I have to remind you. I mean, the Flashy car or my hight paid job were obvious. A religious belief/ You need to be told..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I don't need those words. They are supposed to be giving the Good Word, not the, Superior Word.

They can keep their weird cult to themselves lol

@FoxyGoddess I am on your side there. But it does help to identify the enemy..😷

I don't either, but it seems the internet was made for them in doing this.

@FoxyGoddess They don't really believe in anything but themselves. They are using religion as a manipulation tactic. It's actually very common for psychopaths to claim faith and even to align themselves with a deity.

@faery I always wonder about their beliefs. Do they "believe" to hedge their bets? Do they believe to lord over others? What is their reason for believing if they are just going to use it as a blunt force weapon?
faery · F
@FoxyGoddess No, they aren't betting on anyone but themselves. They use the power of religion over others. They will use it to lord over others, yes, because they like to lord over others, but they'd use anything they can, not just religion. It's completely about them inflicting suffering on others and the satisfaction they get from it.
Miserable people going through life trying to make other people miserable.
The thing is if you fall into that rut it becomes second nature and it becomes very difficult to break out of it.
Usually it’s because they’re miserable and want company.
FoxyGoddess · 51-55, F
@OlderSometimesWiser they need to try a different tactic then.
@FoxyGoddess Lol….. many seem to enjoy that tactic and there’s no shaking them out of their misery tree. They’re probably loving that you made a post about them. I usually end up blocking them. Not worth the aggravation to participate in their little hobby.

@OlderSometimesWiser I probably will block them. Life is too short for eye pokers.
