If the elders are rude and the adults tolerate them, then is it up to the even younger generation to stop the cycle?

I don't think I want to be on this earth to keep acting like a sheep in the cycle of shame that no one dares to admit.

I'd very much be a black sheep wandering around in quest of what is right. And sure, I doubt myself at times. But questioning things means I can open my heart and mind to change and improvement.

I am by no means perfect. Not as a child, and not as an adult (if I can really be considered one). I am older than some, but also younger than some.

And now the question I find myself asking is, "How long will we let the belief that we ought to respect the elders get in the way of correcting and putting a stop to a history of abuse and discrimination?"

By not looking at generations and instead looking at each indvidual and have them accountable for their choices.
