I Hate Rude People

This afternoon I had a few jobs to do in town and i had my eldest with me. I parked up at the supermarket in the mother and child spots. As I parked up a woman parked to my left and had her kids in the car. I got out to quickly get some cash out before I went inside. I get out and shut the door and she just gives me a nasty look as if to say you haven't got a child why have you parked in these spots. I ignored it and got cash out then as I come back to my car she says " oh its alright is it to use the mother and baby spots just so you don't have to walk as far to the cash machine". Shocked and a little speechless I paused and said "Oh no, my son is in the back I just left him in the car for two minutes whilst I got money out". She still wasn't satisfied so went at me again. "These spaces are for parents who need the extra room to get kids out of the car and are actually taking them into the supermarket". I rose above it and smiled opening my door to show Alfie sat in the back, i lifted him out and said "oh we are both going inside". She gave me no apology for being so unnecessarily rude or nosey. All I got was a "good!" and she strolled off with her two children following behind.

Thankfully im a relaxed person so I dont get angry and retaliate but it does annoy me how some people can be so rude sometimes. I was polite back to her so I know I'm the far bigger person at least :)

What has it got to do with her?
We see people abusing parking places all the time, fit people parking on disabled bays and mother and child bays, it's for the authorities to deal with not members of the public.
It causes grief unnecessarily, nosey people are a pain.
Unfortunately the world is full of nosey busy bodies who are rude, I just ignore them because they are looking for a reaction and get frustrated when they don't get one.

@erikman48 thats true and the funny thing is when they could stick their nose in to actualy help someone they wont.

there are so many selfish people about, it's very sad.
They would get so much pleasure from helping others instead of always finding fault and being negative.

look at these assholish comments.

you have kids and be knocked up with one, i seen many women who have to fend for themselves and trying to get a spot near anywhere in hell is hard then trying to juggle children and a pregnancy is another nightmare.

let alone dealing with people who park in those spots then act all that when they're caught.

just like all those assholes who park in handicapped areas... then brag it up.

Some people are just rude. Lots of them for that matter. A one woman, about 46 yo or so, was verbally threatening me because of my driving through the parking lot of the mall. But she obviously wasn't seeing me and that I was stopping at every stop sign there was. But she was just getting up in my grill for the fun of it and called me a "Dangerous fu**er." I shot the finger at her for the false pretenses. It was her fault anyways.

You have great patience.. I’d so have told her to mind her own and then some!

Sometimes "live and let live" is hard to practice, but you nailed it.😉

They have mother and child parking spots? what a joke. That's like verified vs unverified people. Some are just better and more important than others.
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
@Earthwrap why? explain why that's a JOKE?
BusyMum3 · 36-40, F
@Earthwrap They're great for parents with children especially young ones because they are bigger than standard bays
Earthwrap · 41-45, M
@sighmeupforthat Aren't we supposed to be incentivizing not having children? World is already too crowded.

As bad as people telling drivers off for using the disabled spot, when they have an invisible disability.
NeuroticByNature · 41-45, F
Should have just told her to mind her own business.
BusyMum3 · 36-40, F
@NeuroticByNature Oh i would have loved to but she looked quite scary lol
NeuroticByNature · 41-45, F
@BusyMum3 you would be surprised. Some people are all bark and no bite.

don't park where you're not suppose to...

enough of this abuse.
