I Am a Quiet Person

What really irks me is that people automatically want to label me as “the quiet one” and “the one who never talks”. But they don’t bother to get to know me and as a result the quietness is all they see. Even in middle school I won “quietest girl” and what I really wanted was “best dressed” because I was really into fashion, but again the other interesting things about me weren’t noticed. People constantly ask “why are you so quiet?” which is rude. That’s like asking me why my eyes are brown.

You can experiment with being loud. I don' t say to stop being yourself, but to step out of your known zone (notice i didn't say 'comfort' but 'known') You are not just the quiet girl, you may discover you're not even the quiet girl.
Sometimes being quiet can make people feel either being too observed/judged or unnoticed and maybe that's a reason they try to label you, just to take a turn from these awkward feelings..:)
Try to sing also or whistle, drum or clap, breath deeply, you don't have to talk to make sound.

I am starting to step out of my known zone by dancing during work and using sense of humor. Still people think I’m just the quiet one. I know one girl told someone she was scared of me because I never said anything to her. @elafina

@Imagnaryfriend such dominant traits in our characters take some time to change, for others to observe the change takes even longer sometimes because they don't really see, they mostly remember. Keep it up <3
