I Am A Quiet Observer

I wish I wasn't quite so quiet, meek and mild. However, being forceful doesn't seem to gain you much, either- unless you have a good amount of charisma, etc. I have kindness...

I think I prefer being considerate, being quiet, and soaking things in. I think it makes me more pleasant and teaches me more, than bowling people over. However much it may be a disservice to myself.

Maybe because they gather the information that can hurt you, when reflected back? Very occasionally, I get fed up- and reflect peoples faults back at themselves- rather than take more abuse. TBH, I always feel bad about it, because it's the stuff people know about themselves but don't want to face.

Maybe because you don't know what they are thinking whereas louder people just tell everything (well not everything). Perhaps passive aggression may be behind this phrase too. Not sure.
