Why would someone take your washing machine like that?

So there was a party and someone got sick on the blankets. Went to the laundry mat and claimed my machine by placing my basket pile there but when I went to get change a man with a bunch of kids running around moved my pile and started using the machine I was gonna use. We were the only people there and he had like a hundred other machines to choose from. I don't get it. Not a big deal I just used another machine but sitting there eating my vending machine snack I kept thinking is that dude lookin for a fight?
